could i please have some more comment spam?
Umm...please? I've only had to delete about a thousand freaking comments in the last couple of days, there's plenty of time left in my week for more. What a shitstorm. Does someone know if anyone is tracking trends in comment spam?

My recommendation...
think about how comments you usually get in a day, maybe 2?
then search for throttling script in Google for MT, you might even have it already if you use a newer version, then apply patch, throttle comments and trackbacks the same way and you re safe. might have to delete 1 once in a while though...
